Celebrating Our First Five Months

It’s hard to believe that it has been five months since our first pints showed up in the freezers at Roy Pope’s in Fort Worth. A lot of hard work and even more luck has us in over 30 stores across Texas now and even a few in St. Louis, MO. Meeting and serving new customers has been nothing but a True Joy!

If you’re one of the few on our humble email list today, you probably know the story pretty well and were probably even a part of some of these events! But I thought it might be worth touching on some of the highlights to date:

May 13 - Launch party at Roy Pope Grocery with scoops and pints on the patio!

May 23 - The first pints land in Austin. Close friends have Royal Blue sold out in two days, thanks y’all!

June 10 - TruJoy launches into Central Market and I spend a week living out of car (with Joy!) visiting and passing out samples at stores across the state.

August 5 - A series of fortunate events land TruJoy Yogurt at Straub’s in St. Louis, MO. This necessitates a 'business trip’ to see our Frozen Greek Yogurt across state lines. I was relieved to find that it made it still frozen and tasting just as good across state lines!

In a few short weeks you will be seeing two new flavors show up in the freezer at your favorite place to shop for TruJoy Yogurt! We cannot wait to share our Coffee and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Frozen Greek Yogurt with you!

You might be wondering where you will find TruJoy next… We have sent samples to a number of great grocery stores, any one of which we’d be excited to work with. Our fingers are crossed and we are optimistic that we will be launching into some of these stores early in 2024. Hopefully we hear some good news soon - stay tuned!
